Snoqualmie Mill site development hearing next week

The city council will hold a hearing on the development agreement.

The Town of Snoqualmie has announced that a public hearing on the Snoqualmie Plant Site Development Agreement will be held at its regular hybrid council meeting on September 12.

Residents can comment on the proposed deal at this meeting, which begins at 7 p.m., online or in person at City Hall. Residents can also provide written comments to Planner Jason Rodgers ([email protected]).

The proposed agreement between the city and the developers, Snoqualmie Mill Ventures LLC, would establish standards that guide the planning and construction of the mill site. This includes mitigation measures and development conditions.

This agreement, along with a planned commercial/industrial master plan submitted by Mill Ventures, is expected to be voted on by the board on September 26.

Approval of these two documents would give the green light for construction of the 10-15 year development and allow Mill Ventures to apply for building permits.
